Forsyth County Family Haven was incorporated in 1989 for the purpose of providing safe temporary shelter, individual crisis support and referral services for victims of violence. Our organization acts as an advocate for victims and families of domestic violence providing shelter, programs and community education to end the cycle of violence. We are a nonprofit organization serving Forsyth and North Fulton Counties.
The Mission of Family Haven is to provide comprehensive services to individuals and their children who have experienced family violence, to educate and train the community on the issue of family violence/sexual assault, to increase self-sufficiency and to reduce recidivism.
The Family Haven shelter is supported through grants and charitable donations. To end the cycle of abuse we need your help. Every dollar is used to further our vision of expanded services, education, and support.
Together we can make a difference. When a member of our community is in need we all must rally together to help. Domestic abuse is more common than you may think. It could be a neighbor, family member, or friend. Help us help our community.
